Most health insurance carriers require small businesses to employee at least two full time people in order to qualify for “group health insurance.” As an attorney, however, you have access to an Anthem Group Sole Proprietor Plan. This plan is available in all areas that Anthem serves. This provides you with all of the benefits of a large group plan, even if you are the only employee of your business.
